Dinner in Snyder

Our final stop for Race Day 1 was in Snyder, Texas, and they welcomed us with food trucks, snow cones, and lots of water. We parked our solar cars on a closed off street right next to their town hall, and set up on the lawns around it to eat dinner and talk to the locals about our cars and our teams. We had a fantastic time in Snyder (aside from one unfortunate pickle-flavored snow cone) and finished Day 1 at second place in our division; less than 10 miles behind the first place team!
