Friends Along the Way

We stopped for a bathroom break along the way on our first day of racing, and met some interested people in the town we stopped at. They wanted to know all about what exactly our car was, how we built it, and how to follow the challenge. We happily directed them to the resources available to track the competition, and we were reenergized by the public interest in our race. We also have become familiar with many of the other teams competing, and enjoy talking to, checking in with, and helping out our friends whenever we come across them.
