Station 6

Station 6 was the endurance test. Our entire convoy (Lead one, the solar car, chase one, and chase two) went out on the Texas Motor Speedway racetrack and completed two laps. On the first lap, we reached a peak of 29mph and drove through without a hitch. On the second lap, we simulated a breakdown where our driver (Aria) stopped the car after a radio communication to make sure both she and the car could respond immediately. Once we were back to the start, we demonstrated our ability to stop, set up traffic cones, and alert potential traffic should the car break down. We loaded it onto the trailer, and we were all done!
